The lens behind this space

Hi, I’m Tushti.

I moved to Toronto at 16 and spent years feeling part of everything, but not fully inside it. That’s what pulled me into psychology. Today I’m finishing my Master’s in Counselling Psychology at the University of Toronto, and I facilitate body mapping online across India, and in person with schools, colleges and teams in Bengaluru.

Where it started

Belonging, and the body as a way in.

Those years shaped how I think about belonging, connection, and the quiet ways we adapt to the places we find ourselves in. Over time, psychology became less of a subject and more of a way to understand not just others, but myself.

Body mapping came later, in the first year of my Master’s, when we mapped our own identities onto the outline of a body. Putting things on a body showed me what writing never had. Back in India, where so much of what we feel shows up in the chest, the shoulders or the stomach before it ever finds words, it became the way in I trust most.

Change doesn’t always feel like progress. Sometimes, it just feels like confusion, until it doesn’t.
