Who runs this site
Tee Talks is written and run by Tushti. For anything on this page, including having your information deleted, email teetalksorg@gmail.com.
What is collected
Your email address, if you use the form on the Resources page to get the free guides. Nothing else is asked for. It is stored in the site’s database, which is hosted by Hostinger, and a copy reaches Tushti by email.
Comment details, if you leave a comment. WordPress records the name, email address and IP address you submit, and Akismet checks it for spam, which sends that information to Automattic. Approved comments are public.
Usage data, if you only read. Google Analytics records which pages are opened, roughly which country you are in and what device you use, and sets cookies to do it. Hostinger keeps standard server logs.
What it is used for
Email addresses are used to send the free guides. There is no mailing list running at the moment, so nothing else is sent. They are not sold, shared or used for advertising.
Keeping it, and removing it
Your email address is kept until you ask for it to be removed. Email teetalksorg@gmail.com and it will be deleted. You can also ask for a copy of what is held, or for anything wrong to be corrected. Cookies can be cleared in your own browser.
Please do not put personal details in a form
The forms ask for an email address and nothing more. This site is writing and psychoeducation rather than a confidential clinical service, and email is not a secure channel. If something difficult is going on, Tele-MANAS is free and open 24 hours on 14416 in India. Elsewhere, findahelpline.com lists the number for your country.
If you are under 18
Anyone is welcome to read this site, including students. Information is not knowingly collected from anyone under 18, so please do not use the email form without a parent or guardian knowing. If you think a child has entered their email address here, email teetalksorg@gmail.com and it will be deleted.
