Who it’s for

One method, shaped to the room.

Schools

Students, teachers and parents

Sessions for students, with separate versions for teachers and for parents. In schools we stay with stress and self-compassion: noticing what pressure feels like in the body, and one small way to be kinder to yourself about it.

Colleges and universities

Wellness cells and departments

For orientation, exam season, wellness weeks and psychology departments. Students map what stress, belonging or overwhelm feel like, and leave with words for it.

Workplaces and teams

HR, L&D and team days

For wellbeing weeks, offsites and learning sessions. A low-pressure way for a team to talk about stress at work, without anyone having to share more than they want to.

What the session is built to give

What people leave with.

Words for what they feel

Most people can say they feel “off”. Mapping helps them say where it sits, and what it might be.

Noticing stress earlier

Where it shows up first in their body: a tight jaw, a heavy chest, a stomach in knots. Noticing it is the first step to doing something about it.

One small tool to keep

A short self-compassion practice they can use on their own, long after the session ends.

A shared language

A way for the group to talk about feelings that doesn’t depend on anyone telling their story.

How it works

From first call to the session.

  1. A free planning call

Fifteen minutes on Google Meet. Tell us who the group is, their ages, and what is going on for them right now.

  2. A plan made for your group

We send a session plan with the theme, length and format, along with the fee.

  3. The session

Everyone works on the outline of a body, in four layers: what the body notices, the emotion that comes with it, what it makes them want to do, and what the mind says about it. Then one small tool to try.

  4. Afterwards

Each person keeps their own map. If anyone needs more support than a workshop can give, we point them to your counsellor and to Tele-MANAS.

The practical bit

Everything you need to plan.

Who leads it

Hi, I’m Tushti.

I’m a counselling psychology graduate student at the University of Toronto and a body mapping facilitator. I’ve mapped with school students, with adults in online and in-person sessions across India, and with practitioners from different fields as well as people who are simply curious.

  • Presented on body mapping at ICCP 2026, the International Conference on Counselling and Psychotherapy, in Bengaluru
What it is and isn’t

Reflective, not clinical

Body mapping at Tee Talks is a reflective, psychoeducational practice. It isn’t therapy, assessment, diagnosis or crisis care.

Nobody is asked to share a personal story. People work with something that sits around three to five out of ten, not the hardest thing they carry, and anyone can sit out any part.

In their words

What a room can feel like.

I finally feel like I know what I’m feeling. Before, it was only something weird.
I reflected on so many things, both in the group and individually, and it made me feel much more open to the idea of sitting with our feelings.
It wasn’t only a session. It was a way to connect with people who felt the same.
Questions people ask

Before you book.

Is this therapy or counselling?

No. It’s a reflective, psychoeducational workshop. It doesn’t diagnose or treat anything, and it isn’t crisis care.

Do participants have to share personal things?

No. Everyone works on their own map, and sharing is always optional. People choose something small to work with, not the hardest thing they carry.

What ages is it for?

School students, college students and adults. Each version is planned for its age group, and schools get separate versions for teachers and parents.

Can it be online?

Yes. Online sessions run on Google Meet anywhere in India. In-person sessions are in Bengaluru, at your venue.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the group, the length and the format. You get the fee with your session plan after the free planning call.

What if someone gets upset?

We keep to manageable feelings, and anyone can step out at any time. If someone needs more support, we point them to your counsellor and to Tele-MANAS on 14416.

Ready to plan one?

Fifteen minutes on a call, then a plan made for your group.

If you or someone in your group is thinking about self-harm or doesn’t feel safe right now, please reach out straight away: call Tele-MANAS on 14416 (free, any time) or 112 in an emergency.
